god is tempting me to take my life and give it to him,

but i am the better jacob.

and i will wrestle with god all night, and he will hurt me. at daybreak, i will not let him go; i will not beg for his blessing.

i will wrestle with god all night.

and i will kill him.

and i will live.

for i am the better jacob.
